Back on point ...

Well, finally I am feeling well enough to get back to my knitting. It's been a very tough month indeed. We've been in Gurgaon for 3 1/2 weeks - it feels like a long time but also a short time, which is strange.  For three of those weeks Geri and I have been sick - first with  Delhi Belly followed closely by a 'flu chaser.  Just delightful. I've been in pure survival mode and the thought of knitting hasn't even entered my little brain.
We are both very happy to be feeling a bit better. Geri's baseline (which I'm sure has been assisted by her tapering steroid dose) seems to be coming up and she has resumed working on her web comic. For myself, I am settling into a daily routine and am so relieved to feel like doing something creative again. This morning I was surprised by the return of a long lost sense of  inner contentment and happiness. Hopefully I can sustain it!

  1. So glad things are on the up. And I just love the colour of that wool, which will suit you so well, but which, sad would look crap on me!

  2. It's actually a cotton - a llvely soft mercerised Italian one. Quite different to knit with compared to wool as it has no spring or stretch. I'm looking to forward to blocking it to see how that compares to blocking wool.
